Dan Goodman is a dedicated entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience in the wood flooring industry. He owns and operates TCB Flooring Inc., which specializes in high-end wood flooring services. In addition to his expertise in flooring, he is also a licensed home inspector, a security professional, and a fitness enthusiast.

Dan was born in 1978 in the Bronx, New York, and spent his early years there before moving to Mt. Vernon, NY, at age 10. In Mt. Vernon, he first developed a love for sports, especially football. His natural ability in the sport gained him popularity among his peers. However, as he grew older, his focus shifted to another interest—wood flooring. In 1995, he was introduced to wood flooring, which quickly became his passion and career.

While working in the wood flooring industry, Dan Goodman of Westchester, NY, attended Johnson and Wales University, where he studied hotel and restaurant management and culinary arts. During this time, he also explored entrepreneurship by opening a gourmet deli named "Good to Go Delicacies." This venture allowed him to gain firsthand experience in business management, customer relations, and navigating the challenges of running a small operation.

After honing his skills in the wood flooring industry, Daniel decided to turn his passion into a full-time career by founding TCB Flooring Inc. As the owner and operator, he ensures that each project meets high-quality standards. The company offers various services, including wood floor installations, refinishing, and home renovations. His hands-on approach has earned him a loyal client base that values his attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

In 2016, Dan broadened his professional skill set by obtaining a security license, leading him to work as a bar bouncer and later as a bar manager. These roles helped him develop valuable skills in customer service, conflict resolution, and team management. In 2022, Dan passed the New York State exam to become a licensed home inspector, allowing him to offer additional services to his clients.

As Goodman approaches 30 years in the wood flooring industry, he remains committed to his work and community. He supports several charitable organizations, including Saints Peter and Paul, Saint Ursula Church, and the Mount Sinai Health System.

Outside his professional career, Dan Goodman from Mt. Vernon enjoys combat sports and fitness. He trains in boxing, martial arts, and MMA to stay physically fit. He also participates in CrossFit, which helps him maintain his physical and mental health through rigorous training and discipline.
